Echuca to Heathcote Winery Tours 

For those wanting to leave the Echuca Moama region for the day, we are lucky enough to have one of Australia’s best wine regions at our doorstep – Heathcote. Learn a little more about the region via the video below.

Many of the wine makers are now also growing more varieties such as: Marsanne, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Viognier and Carbernet Sauvignon, just to name a few.

Heathcote has become an extremely popular region for wine tasting and growing. This is due to the great climate conditions and the unique red Cambrian soil – often 3 to 4 meters deep.

The soils are great for retaining water and were forced to the surface by two fault lines, Mcivor and Heathcote.

Most vineyards are family owned with multi-generation history – get ready for some great storytelling.

We try to provide a range of wine flavours and styles during our day, keeping the day full of surprises, lots of fun and great learnings.

Heathcote really is the perfect location for a full day winery tour from Echuca.

We usually have enough time for 3-4 wineries, including a lunch stop at one and a bus ride that isn’t too long (around 1 hour each way).
