Visiting wineries in the Echuca Moama region 

Ever visited Australian winery regions such as the Yarra Valley, the Mornington Peninsula, Tasmania, Barossa Valley or Margaret River? Well, the Echuca Moama area is not like any of them! Throughout our HALF DAY Echuca-Moama (Perricoota) region wine tour, your group will join us on either of our super comfy 12 or 24 seater buses. Your engaging host will discuss as much or as little ‘wine talk’ as you like. You’ll visit a variety of local wine makers, tasting your way as you learn about the region’s delicious wine offerings. You’ll enjoy shared platters and optional lunch, lots of snacks and water along the way, plenty of fun music (we love song requests!). You also have the option of tasting Gin, Vodka or Beers from a local awarrd-winning Gin Distillery. The HALF DAY is completely customiseable to your group – just ask us! 

We explore wineries in the Perricoota Region predominantly, which is on the New South Wales side of the Vic – NSW border. Although Echuca Moama is warmer generally than a lot of the regions above, with more sunny days, the Perricoota, Nsw side is a little cooler, along the northern border of the Murray River. We also visit the Echuca, Victorian side, which is officially the Goulburn Valley region.

These wine regions are best known for growing grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet, Semillon and Shiraz but our very talented local wine makers create many blends using these grapes and more. Many are winning awards for some absolutely delicious wines. 
Often other grapes may be grown in nearby regions such as Bendigo, Heathcote, Ballarat or Castlemaine and brought in to the local manufacturing facilities.

 With so many beautiful places to explore in the Echuca Moama region, you’ll certainly have plenty of ‘Instagram worthy’ photo opportunities.
